About the Instructors

Candace Gray

Candace Gray is the founder of the independent consulting practice, Gray Consulting Group. She founded the practice in 2003 after working for many years in both the non-profit and for-profit sectors. Ms.Gray provides non-profit management expertise in areas such as fundraising, strategic planning, program development and community development.

Ms. Gray’s past experience includes creating a small grants program and reviewing funding proposals submitted to a local foundation. During this time, she gained valuable insight into the key components of winning proposals.

Regina Nippert

Ms. Nippert is currently the Executive Director of the Dallas Faith Communities Coalition. She has spent the past twenty-five years working in a variety of community building settings including the practice of architecture, affordable home building, community and economic development, micro-lending and the public charter school movement. Ms. Nippert is also a skilled trainer for strategic and business planning, board development, fundraising, project design and community-based development
