Over Here!! Look At Me! Look at the Growth in the Number of Nonprofit Groups in Texas from 1996-2004

In just eight years the number of charitable nonprofits in Texas has almost doubled. The number has grown from 33,380 to 54,880! That is a 64.40% change!

The number of private foundation HAS doubled. The number has grown from 3,039 to 6,279! That is a 106.60% gain!

Lets look at the IRS statistics:
