Now Accepting Exhibition Proposals for 2017-2018
Due Wednesday, March 15, 2017 at 12AM (Midnight - CST)
Lawndale Art Center is excited to announce our call for exhibition proposals for the 2017-2018 season. For those of you who are familiar with Lawndale's call for proposals, you will notice that our bi-yearly call has been condensed into one annual call for the coming year. For those of you who are unfamiliar with our call, an overview and guidelines may be found HERE.

We gave much thought to the pros and cons of moving to an annual call. Ultimately, the decision came out of our ambition to create even more thoughtful and engaged programming around all of the exhibitions that we mount here. It is our hope that this new format will allow the Lawndale team more creative space to engage artists and audiences through our exhibitions and public programs, and more time to engage curators, scholars, and writers to respond to the exhibitions on view.
