2015 Bastrop County Fire Fundraising Dinner Tonight!
Two non-profit organizations, Raindrop Turkish House and Embrace Relief, are holding a relief fundraiser event, to be attended by the Bastrop County judge Paul Pape and Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts Glenn Hegar, on December 2nd at Raindrop Turkish House in Austin, with the aim of supporting Bastrop Fire Relief efforts. The organizers have set a goal to raise more than $50,000 through community fundraisers and auctions at this event.
Raindrop Turkish House is a non-profit 501(c)(3), educational, charitable, social and cultural organization founded by Turkish-Americans in Houston in 2000 and now it operates in six states: Texas, Arkansas, Kansas, Oklahoma, Mississippi, and New Mexico.
Embrace Relief is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization that brings together teams of volunteers to collaborate on humanitarian aid and disaster relief efforts. These teams provide an array of support, offering to assist financially, emotionally, and physically with the needs of families and communities ravaged by disaster.
Embrace Relief, its staff and its volunteers believe that every member of society can give back to their communities in some shape or form, within a pleasant and respectful environment that accepts no judgments or discrimination.
