Board Principles IV - Responsible Fundraising
The “Responsible Fundraising” session of our Board Principles series will cover seven principles related to building donor support and confidence in the soliciting of funds.
The Panel on the Nonprofit Sector, convened by Independent Sector and supported by BoardSource, developed “Principles for Good Governance and Ethical Practice” in 2007. They identified 33 principles designed to guide board members and staff professionals of charitable organizations as they work to improve their own operations. The San Antonio Area Foundation is presenting these 33 principles over four sessions to be held quarterly throughout the year (the 3rd Wednesday of March, June, September and December). The “Responsible Fundraising” session will cover seven principles related to building donor support and confidence in the soliciting of funds.
Who should take this class?
