Register now to run or walk in Wounded Warrior Project® (WWP) 8K Runs, presented by USAA. The fundraising event returns to Jacksonville, Florida; San Antonio, Texas and Franklin, Tennessee and is expanding to include Colorado Springs, Colorado; Norfolk, Virginia and Phoenix, Arizona. A WWP 1K Fun Run is also offered in each city for participants aged 12 and under.
Fundraising proceeds of each WWP 8K Run directly benefit WWP’s programs, structured to nurture the mind and body, and encourage economic empowerment and engagement of injured service members.

• Under Armour running jersey for the first 1,500 participants registered in Jacksonville, San Antonio, and Franklin and the first 750 participants registered in Colorado Springs, Norfolk, and Phoenix.

All runners registered for the WWP 8K Run in Jacksonville, San Antonio, Colorado Springs, and Phoenix must raise a minimum of $99, but are recommended to get creative and fundraise beyond the individual minimum. There is no fundraising minimum in Franklin or Norfolk; however, it is highly encouraged. Participants are also encouraged to join or create a team to experience firsthand the rewards of teamwork and to help support each other in fundraising efforts. Every dollar raised helps to foster the most successful, well-adjusted generation of Wounded Warriors in our nation’s history. Participants who fundraise $500, $1,000 or more at least one week before their registered event will receive a special Survival Straps gift.
Onsite Fun & Events
In addition to the run, race day offers a variety of activities including post-race refreshments, food, and entertainment for all registered participants, and a booth with WWP gear available for purchase. First place male and female times overall will receive a special award, while first place male and female finishers in each age division will receive a medal. WWP 8K Runs are presented nationwide by USAA and made possible through the support of generous sponsors.
