Casa Conroe Band Rocks

Juan Across America 


The sounds of “Oye Como Va” rang throughout the facility of Casa Conroe. Staff and clients sang and danced as they welcomed Dr. Juan Sanchez, CEO and founder of Southwest Key Programs. It was hard to believe that the band, Mani de Southwest Key, led by staff trainer, Mario Gutierrez formed only a week before Dr. Sanchez’s visit from Austin. (read more



On October 30, 2013, the Juan Across America tour visited Austin, TX for a second tour stop. SWKey staff from headquarters and Austin Juvenile Justice programs gathered for a night of socializing, comradery and fun. “It is definitely a good event to meet staff outside of my department, especially the program staff,” said Melody Chung, Chief Financial Officer. (read more

Join Southwest Key for Posada

Southwest Key's Latino Arts Preservation Program will narrate, sing and dance the audience through a traditional Mexican Posada. Kids can meet Sana Claus and enjoy arts and crafts, piñatas and more. Join us on December 19, 2013 from 6:00pm-8:00pm at 6002 Jain Ln. Austin

East Austin College Prep Students Going to Madrid, Spain


East Austin College Prep has selected 15 students from the 10th grade Advanced Spanish class to participate in an immersion program in Madrid. Ms. Jacqueline Vidal, history teacher is leading the efforts in organizing the first international trip with EAPrep students.  (read more
