TWO NEW SPONSORS FOR HEART GALLERY EVENT

Thank you for the tremendous response to our call for sponsors and silent auction donors for the Heart Gallery of Central Texas Portrait Unveiling & Supporter Appreciation Event on September 20th! We are honored that two more companies have joined our list of sponsors.

Kruger Diamond Jewelers

The Adoption Coalition has been privileged to work with the owner of Kruger Diamonds Jewelers for many years.  Jim Kruger has been involved with many programs run by the city, state and local non-profits that all benefit the foster children of Central Texas.  Every November during National Adoption Month, Jim presents children with beautiful sterling silver bracelets.  He has made it his mission to help as many children as he can and we are honored that he has agreed to help this year’s Heart Gallery.  Kruger Diamond Jewelers is located in the Barton Creek Mall and can be found at www.krugerdiamonds.com.

Cook-Walden

Cook-Walden has a long history of philanthropic involvement within the greater Austin community.  I had the privilege of meeting John Onstott, the president of Cook-Walden, during last year’s National Adoption Month.  He and his staff offered up their services and helped feed an entire courthouse full of people, who were there that day to celebrate the festivities.  We are honored that Cook-Walden has decided to join our list of sponsors for this year’s unveiling.  For more information on Cook-Walden please go to www.cookwaldenfuneralhome.com

If your company is interested in learning more about sponsorship opportunities or donating an item for the silent auction, please call the Adoption Coalition’s Executive Director, Murray Chanow, at 512-450-8608 or murraychanow@adopttexas.org.

FOREVER FAMILIES – WATCH THE LATEST SEGMENTS

Forever Families child profile segments air on Time Warner Cable’s YNN channel every Sunday. We strive to make the filming experience fun and special for the profiled child. We do an activity in which the child has expressed an interest to give viewers a glimpse of the child’s personality.

We deeply appreciate the time, generosity, and kindness our hosts extend to the children each week. We’d like to thank the filming hosts recognized below and encourage you to watch the corresponding Forever Families segment if you haven’t already by clicking on the child’s name or photo:

ADOPTION COALITION IS LOOKING FOR DONATIONS

With the year winding down, many companies and individuals may be looking to make donations for a good cause.  We ask that you please think about the Adoption Coalition during these times.  We are looking for a few items.

1)    Conference Table – The Coalition needs a 6 foot conference table.

2)    Easels – We need a few extra easels for this year’s Heart Gallery.  So if your organization wants to donate or lend us a few for this year’s exhibit – please give us a call.

3)    Computers – We are looking to upgrade our computer system and could use two or three new PC’s or laptops.
