San Antonio Advertising Professionals offer free services to local non-profits

Ad 2 San Antonio (AD2SA) is now accepting applications from San Antonio non-profits to help them achieve their mission and broaden their reach through offering  free marketing services.

Starting July 1, 2012 AD2SA will begin accepting applications in order to partner with one non-profit to help strengthen their organization. The application can be found on the AD2SA website ( under the Public Service tab. The deadline for application is August 6, 2012.

AD2SA is an affiliate of the American Advertising Federation (AAF) and AAF-San Antoniocomprised advertising, marketing and communications professionals 32 & under. Every year the organization partners with one non-profit to offer services ranging from marketing, advertising, public relations, website design, logo development and branding strategy. In essence, AD2SA acts as the organizations full-service ad agency for the completely free of charge.

This is AD2SA’s first year to partner with a local non-profit since its inception in September of 2011. However, Ad 2 is a national organization that has been partnering with non-profits in their cities since the 1960’s giving them the tools to magnify their footprint in the community.

“All the members of Ad 2 San Antonio have a passion for public service and we want to give back to San Antonio and offer our skills we’ve gained as professionals to a great cause,” said Ad 2 San Antonio Public Service Chair Rebecca Gonzalez. “We invite any and all local non-profits to apply for help with accomplishing their mission and reaching those in the community.”

AD2SA’s public service committee will go through a vigorous process to find the best match for the 2012-13 campaign before selecting who they will partner with for the year. Any and all non-profits are welcome to apply.

A division of the American Advertising Federation (AAF), Ad 2 chapters across the nation have been providing pro-bono advertising and marketing campaigns to non-profit organizations in their communities since the early 1960s. Public Service campaigns are showcased for public viewing at the annual AAF National Conference. All campaigns are professionally produced and team of judges selects the campaign that best served its community each year. Ad 2 is the future of advertising. With 26 local chapters across the United States, Ad 2 provides young advertising, marketing and communication professionals the contacts, education and leadership opportunities they need to become tomorrowʼs industry leaders.
