Families Get Fit
It is so rewarding to see families exercising and making healthy lifestyle choices together. This truly is the way to make changes that will last. More than 1,100 families are doing just that by participating in the San Antonio Sports 2012Fit Family Challenge presented by Superior Health Plans. This year, fitness events lead by the Bexar County Health Collaborative are offered weekly at six different locations. In addition, there are four big events offered on Saturdays. Participants who have gone to at least three weekly events are eligible to win a $1,000 prize at one of the big events. We’ve had two thrilled families who won at the San Pedro Park walk and District 6 Fitness Field Day at Gustafson Stadium. There are two remaining: July 23 at Hardberger Park and August 11 at Roosevelt Park.
It’s never too late to start. Join us! Visit fitfamilychallenge.com to learn more.
