"Opera in the Heights holds a unique place among regional opera companies in programming and in artistic integrity. The programming of ambitious works such as Don Carlo, Anna Bolena and the upcoming Macbeth have given me the opportunity to learn and perform roles that are important to the development of my career, instrument and stage presence with the luxury of an enthusiastic, supportive audience." ~Emily Newton

Una bella Bravissimo! Grazie!

Thanks to everyone who helped to make this year's Bravissimo! Dinner Concert on June 1st a great success.  What a lovely night! Our guests enjoyed a tasty dinner, a lively LIVE auction, and a wide range of items at the silent auction.  The Adopt-an-Opera program set a record because of your generosity.  The concert featured the spectacular voices of Michelle Johnson, Brian K. Major, and Emily Newton. Gershwin's "Bess, You is my Woman Now" was a show-stopper!

Supporters and fans of Opera in the Heights are the very best!  Thanks to every one of you who supported Bravissimo! 2012,  the music will continue playing!
