Concerts in the Garden this weekend!
Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra

Described as “Fort Worth’s best seasonal outing!” (Star-Telegram), the annual Concerts in the Garden outdoor music festival runs through July 4 at the Fort Worth Botanic Garden. The series offers music for every taste, including rock, country, jazz and classical. Tickets start at $16 (advance lawn) and are on sale at 817-665-6000 and www.fwsymphony.org<http://www.fwsymphony.org>.

                 Gates open at 6:30 p.m. nightly, and performances begin at 8:15 p.m. Concerts are Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, plus Monday, July 2 through Wednesday, July 4. For the complete schedule, please see www.fwsymphony.org<http://www.fwsymphony.org>.

Friday, June 8: MARC BROUSSARD
This young Louisianan singer has built a loyal following with his blazing talent on the guitar and his blend of R&B, blues, rock and pop. As heard in his Top 40 singles Where You Are and Home, Broussard sings with deep emotion in a style that’s earned the name “bayou soul.”

Saturday, June 9: VERTICAL HORIZON
Radio stars Vertical Horizon rock the Garden with their appealing hits, including the Top 10 singles Everything You Want, You’re a God and Best I Ever Had (Grey Sky Morning).

Sunday, June 12: 1812 OVERTURE
Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra
Miguel Harth-Bedoya, Conductor
A night of symphonic masterpieces, ending with Tchaikovsky’s 1812 Overture the way it should be experienced: with your Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra and a spectacular fireworks show choreographed to the music.
