"Setting" a Record

If you love to watch games that showcase athleticism and fast action, purchase your tickets today for the NCAA Division I Women's Volleyball Championship, which San Antonio will host Dec. 15 & 17 in the Alamodome. We're trying to break the all-time NCAA volleyball attendance record of 17,431 set in Omaha, NE and know we can do it with your help. We want to show that San Antonio is a great sports town and there's no place like the Alamo City to host NCAA championships.

Volleyball is the second most popular sport in the world, ranking behind soccer among participation sports, and it originated in the United States. Today there are more than 46 million Americans who play volleyball. You'll have a chance to see some of the best women's players in the country compete. Click here to find out more about tickets and packages. And help us "set" a record.

New Soccer Fields Ready for Action
Bexar County officials and Alamo City Youth Soccer Organization (ACYSO) representatives cut the ribbon on San Antonio's only contiguous soccer field complex on June 23. The Culebra Creek Soccer Complex is one 45-acre plot that can be formatted into five full-sized soccer fields or any number of smaller youth-sized fields in any desired configuration. The light system also allows for the balanced lighting of every field. When combined with the adjacent ACYSO complex, tournament organizers will have 12 full-size soccer fields available.
