Southwest Key’s Walk of Heroes Family Fiesta in East Austin

Join us for a day of family-friendly fun and the unveiling of our Walk of Heroes!

May 14, 2011 from 10 am – 2:30 pm

Southwest Key’s El Centro de Familia, 6002 Jain Lane, Austin

This year, Southwest Key’s annual Family Fiesta promises to be the biggest and best FREE spring festival at the beautiful El Centro de Familia in East Austin.

Filled with non-stop activity and entertainment, the fiesta fun includes a variety of children’s activities and cultural experiences for the entire family.  Visit booths to learn about services offered by local organizations and sample delicious food provided by Café del Sol. The whole family can enjoy live music, crafts, mariachis, games, piñatas, rides, bounce houses, face painting, snow cones...and much more!

This year, the Family Fiesta features the unveiling of our "Walk of Heroes” honoring Mr. Pedro Garza of the Economic Development Administration.

And that’s not all!  Students of the Latino Arts Preservation Program will perform their annual Cinco de Mayo showcase, featuring ballet folklorico, bilingual theatrical performances and cultural music.

It's BIG fun for for the whole family – join us in celebrating Spring, East Austin and our Walk of Heroes!
