FORT WORTH SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA OPEN HOUSE at MAIN ST. FORT WORTH ARTS FESTIVAL

For the first time, the Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra will be part of MAIN ST. Fort Worth Arts Festival, the four-day downtown street festival of arts, food and fun. On Saturday, April 16, the orchestra will hold an open house at Bass Performance Hall that includes a series of free mini-concerts conducted by Music Director Miguel Harth-Bedoya. Lobby activities include an instrument petting zoo for kids, meet-and-greets with Harth-Bedoya and our musicians, and more. Visitors are invited to come and go, no tickets required! 

·         Bass Hall doors open at 1:30 p.m. April 16

·         Four free 20-minute concerts between 2 and 4:30 p.m. (anticipated start times are 2:00, 2:40, 3:20 and 4:00)

·         Miguel Harth-Bedoya conducts short orchestral favorites, from Beethoven to Star Wars

·         ·            Free FWSO T-shirts for the first 50 audience members at each concert

·         Goodie bags for everyone who attends!

·         Musical instrument “petting zoo” and other family activities

·         Meet-and-greets in the lobby with Miguel Harth-Bedoya and FWSO musicians

·         CD giveaways and raffles of Concert in the Garden and Bass Performance Hall tickets
