A message from Grace ED - TODAY food pantries are open for emergency needs
Amazing Grace

February, 2011

A Message from

GRACE's Executive Director:

Friday, February 4, 2011

I hope and pray that each of you are safe and warm today!  As you are probably aware, GRACE's severe weather policy is that we follow the lead of the GCISD.  Therefore, as with the kids in our district, GRACE has been experiencing four snow days this week.

However, I am becoming increasingly concerned about those in our community that may need food, or other supplies.  Therefore, we will be opening the GRACE Food Pantry from 10:30 - 4:00 today, and 11:00 - 3:00 tomorrow.  Because none of the other programs will be running, there will be no need to present a voucher.  Anyone who shows up at our door will be given anything we have to offer.

In addition, we are calling each of the 100 senior's that participate in the Commodities program and the 18 families in Transitional Housing to make sure they are home - safe & sound.  Should they need food or other supplies, we will do our very best to deliver whatever they need.

Please forward this email to anyone that you believe may be in need of assistance.

Thank you, and God bless!
