Free Assistance and investigations are available to eligible entities through the EPA’s Targeted Brownfields Assessment Program.

To request TBA services from the EPA Region 6 Brownfields Team submit a letter that briefly describes the site (name, street address, size in acres, who owns the site, summary of known history, suspected contamination issue), the reuse or redevelopment plan, the status of the request to the State Brownfields Coordinator, and provides a contact point for obtaining additional information.  The TBA request letter should be sent to:
