Jason Dady’s culinary innovation shines in his family of restaurants throughout San Antonio. Dady opened his third hit restaurant, Tre Trattoria, in July 2007 and reinforced his “authentic” vision by creating made-from-scratch pasta each day. “I wanted a place in town where you could get fresh, homemade pasta,” Dady explains. “I didn’t want some Americanized version of Italian food.” The menu at Tre is unique, changing frequently to reflect Dady’s creativity.
Jason has created a special menu for the Literary Feast to celebrate his own idea of dining “At Home in Italy.” Guests will enjoy classic Tre antipasti selections, fresh handmade tagliatelle with wild mushrooms and fresh ricotta, Tuscan marinated beef tenderloin with oregano, cherry tomato and black pepper, and for dessert, a pine nut and chestnut honey tart with Sardinian Saba syrup.
The Jason Dady Restaurant Group partnered with the San Antonio Public Library Foundation to present the Dady Literary Feast series in an effort to give back to the community. The series offers fabulous and delicious events based on books and benefiting the San Antonio Public Library Foundation.
