May, 2010Bring your picnic, family and friends to dine at the San Antonio Botanical Garden. This is a rare opportunity to visit the San Antonio Botanical Garden at dusk on Friday, May 21. Visitors are invited to bring their dinner and lawn seating for an enjoyable picnic in the Garden beginning at 6 p.m. The event will be a perfect “date night”, family picnic, or photographic opportunity. The Garden will stay open long enough for guests to enjoy a beautiful sunset view. Free admission.
This special spring picnic at sunset lets you and your friends take advantage of the beautiful spring weather San Antonio is experiencing. If you join the San Antonio Botanical Society, you can participate in a spring picnic at the Garden every year! Family memberships start at $60.

The Botanical Garden is located at 555 Funston at North New Braunfels Avenue and is operated under the auspices of the City of San Antonio Department of Parks & Recreation.
