Wayland Baptist University’s School of Nursing has received their National Accreditation from the National League for Nursing Accreditation Commission for Achievement of Quality and Excellence in Nursing Education for Fall 2009 to Fall 2014.
This achievement allows all nursing students to receive a Bachelor of Science in Nursing Degree from a nationally accredited school. Some organizations such as the Air Force and Navy require a student to attend a nationally accredited school to earn their degree. These students will now be allowed to attend Wayland. This accreditation also allows students to continue their education at other universities that require national accreditation.
Wayland Baptist University based in Plainview, Texas operates 12 external campuses world-wide. The majority of its students are working adults with classes offered in the day, evening, weekends and over the Internet. Wayland is the fourth largest Baptist University in the country.
