Volunteer Spotlight: Donation Station
Kathy Mize - Donation Station Manager
In the spotlight this week is Donation Station "STAR," Doris Love. Doris volunteers in the Linen Department with Kristin Valentine. She has been with us for a year and is conscientious about her work and a joy to work with.
One of her favorite things to do in her spare time is line dancing. She also volunteers at her church and with the Southlake Senior Center.
We are glad to have her as a loyal volunteer her at Donation Station!
GRACE Volunteers Can "Give a Day. Get a Disney Day."
Disney wants to inspire one million people to volunteer a day of service in their communities to a participating organizations like GRACE. So they are celebrating these volunteers' good works by giving each of them a 1-day, 1-theme park ticket to the Disneyland® Resort or Walt Disney World® Resort, free. There's no better time to make a dream come true for others and let Disney make a few come true for you.

Feinstein Challenge Starts Monday
For the 13th consecutive year, Alan Shawn Feinstein will divide $1 million among anti hunger agencies nationwide using it as a spur to raise funds during March and April, 2010.
Feinstein's past 12 annual $1 million challenges to fight hunger have raised a record $1 Billion for over 2,000 agencies nationwide, and GRACE supporters have been a part of it. Donations towards this campaign make us all partners in the most successful effort to fight hunger of all times!
"My money started this campaign but it is YOU who will help decide how many needy people in your city or town will be fed this year. All that will matter to us someday is what we did while we were here to help those who needed us...Thank you for sharing my heart, and the hope that - someday - no one will ever go hungry." - Alan Shawn Feinstein
Donations of food items and monetary donations specified "Feinstein" between MARCH 1ST and APRIL 30TH will all go towards the Feinstein Challenge.
