The Robert Wood Johnson Foundation awarded a multi-year grant to El Paso for a landmark national program aimed at reversing the childhood obesity epidemic by 2015.The 41 sites are funded through "Healthy Kids, Healthy Communities" program that supports local efforts to improve access to affordable healthy foods and opportunities for physical activities.More than 23 million children and adolescents in the U.S. between ages 2 and 19 are now overweight or obese.
